I am Tigran Sharajyan, also known as Shatimi, a backend developer based in Armenia. I build REST APIs and server-side applications with Java and Spring Boot, alongside .NET and Python frameworks. Great backend is invisible: it just works, scales, and stays calm under pressure.
I specialise in server-side engineering: designing REST APIs, building microservices with Spring Boot and .NET, optimising databases, and writing business logic that can handle real product constraints.
Problem solving is what drives me, whether it is a slow query, a concurrency bug, or a service that needs to handle much more traffic than yesterday.
Production Backend Focus
Spring Boot / .NET / Django / System Design
- 2026 - Present
- Sharpening production backend skills: clean service boundaries, scalable REST APIs, database performance, deployment discipline, and systems that stay understandable under real load.
Architecture and Reliability
Microservices / Auth / Docker / Linux
- 2025
- Moved deeper into backend architecture, authentication flows, JWT, containerised services, Linux server workflows, logging, configuration, and practical reliability patterns.
Backend Developer
REST APIs / Databases / Business Logic
- 2024
- Started building more complete backend services: API contracts, request validation, database schemas, CRUD flows, error handling, and code structure that can grow with a product.
Framework Expansion
Django / Flask / Node.js / Express / MongoDB
- 2023
- Expanded the toolkit across Python and Node.js backends, learned different data modelling approaches, and built small services that connected APIs, databases, and UI clients.
Core Engineering Skills
OOP / Algorithms / SQL / Git
- 2022
- Built stronger programming fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, relational data, version control, debugging habits, and small practical applications.
Starting the Path
Java / Python / C#
- 2021
- Began the developer journey with the first languages, console programs, basic web concepts, first API calls, and the habit of turning curiosity into working code.
